Person Allocator for Shifts

This DDF is an optional add-on to the Microsoft Shifts DDF. It allows persons from Microsoft Shifts to be assigned to a specific room or office and their presence to be used for room automation.

This allows room automation to be controlled depending on which persons are assigned to the respective room and whether these persons are present. For example, heating, ventilation, lighting or other room functions can be automatically adapted to the actual use of the room.

The DDF provides 9 inputs for persons or presence sensors, 9 outputs for the state of the individual persons, as well as outputs for the room state.

Requirements

The following requirements must be met to use this DDF:

• a configured Microsoft Shifts DDF
• Microsoft 365 with the corresponding shift and personnel data
• a room or office to which the persons are to be assigned
• one presence sensor per person

Configuration

Up to 9 persons per DDF can be assigned using the Occupant Inputs. A separate presence sensor can be linked to the corresponding input for each person.

The respective Occupant State indicates the presence state of the assigned person. The Room State allows the presence of the persons to be combined and used for controlling the entire room.

Important Notes

This DDF is not standalone and can only be used together with the Microsoft Shifts DDF.

Up to 9 persons can be considered per DDF. A separate presence sensor can be linked to the corresponding Occupant Input for each person.

The available inputs and outputs are used to represent the assignment of persons, their individual presence states, and the resulting room state in the room automation.
