The Hoval TopTronic E (TTE) is an operating system for Hoval district heating, Air/Water, Brine/Water and Water/Water heat pumps, as well as gas, oil and wood heat sources, which can be used standalone or combined into hybrid systems for heating and cooling.
It can also operate a Hoval ventilation system.
In addition, the TopTronic E (TTE) can communicate with the Hoval PV-Heater.

This DDF defines the device’s inputs and outputs, provides visualization and error checking within the DEVICE system, and sets the ventilation mode to Constant.

Attention: This DDF supports only following HOVAL Use Cases for Heating&Cooling, PV-Heater & HomeVent ER at the moment:

  • Use case 1: Setpoint specification for room temperature and domestic hot water via Modbus

  • Use case 2: Setpoint specification for flow temperature and domestic hot water via Modbus

  • Use case 3: Specification of a temperature setpoint via Modbus directly to the heat generator

  • Use case 4: Specification of a power setpoint via Modbus directly to the heat generator

  • Use case 5: Control of the HomeVent ventilation system via Modbus

  • Use case 6: Power limitation for Germany in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) / grid-supportive control via Modbus
